1. Introduction

AdFraudX ("we", "us", "our") provides click-fraud detection and traffic quality analytics to advertisers, agencies, and publishers ("Clients"). This Privacy Policy explains how we process information when Clients use our Services or visit our website.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account & Billing Data

Names, company details, email addresses, billing contacts, payment references, and any information supplied during onboarding or support interactions.

2.2 Service & Device Data

Click metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamps, referrers, campaign identifiers), JavaScript detection signals, session identifiers, fraud indicators, and aggregated performance metrics generated by our scripts.

2.3 Cookies & Storage

Session cookies and local/session storage entries used to maintain authentication and ensure detection data is transmitted reliably.

2.4 Communications

Emails, chats, and attachments exchanged with our support team.

3. How We Use Data

  • Deliver, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity.
  • Provide analytics, reports, and alerts for Client campaigns.
  • Send operational notices, product updates, and billing information.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.

4. Legal Bases

Where applicable (e.g., GDPR), we process data based on:

  • Performance of a contract (providing the Services).
  • Legitimate interest (fraud prevention, platform security, analytics).
  • Legal obligation (record keeping, regulatory compliance).
  • Consent, where required by law.

5. Sharing & Transfers

We share data only with trusted parties needed to operate the Services:

  • Payment processors for billing.
  • Cloud infrastructure, storage, and communication providers.
  • Professional advisors or auditors under confidentiality.
  • Law enforcement or regulators when legally required.
  • Successor entities if AdFraudX merges or transfers assets.

Data may be processed in jurisdictions outside the Client's region; we rely on contractual safeguards when required.

6. Retention

  • Click-level data: retained as long as necessary for fraud analytics (typically up to 24 months) unless longer retention is required by law.
  • Statistics Access: To manage server load and ensure optimal performance, statistics viewing is limited. Free accounts (10,000 clicks/month) can access statistics for the last 35 days. Accounts with purchased clicks can access statistics for the last 3 months. Older statistics beyond these limits are not accessible through the dashboard, though underlying data may be retained for system operations and legal compliance.
  • Account and billing data: retained while the account is active and up to 7 years for tax/compliance purposes.
  • Support communications: retained up to 24 months.

7. Security

We implement encryption in transit, hardened infrastructure, network monitoring, and role-based access controls. No system is 100% secure, so Clients must protect their own credentials, API keys, and integrations.

8. Client Responsibilities

  • Obtain required end-user consents (cookies, tracking notices, GDPR/CCPA disclosures).
  • Configure detection scripts in compliance with applicable privacy laws.
  • Remove our scripts or request deletion if mandated by user requests.

9. Rights & Choices

Depending on jurisdiction, Clients or end users may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data processed by AdFraudX. Requests can be submitted to [email protected], and we may verify identity before responding.

10. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn that we have, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. Material updates will be announced via email or dashboard notifications before they become effective.

12. Contact

Questions or requests can be sent to [email protected].
